Biography
Kevin is a specialist consultant in Customs and international trade facilitation. In 2006 Kevin established Global Trade Remedies Pty Limited (GTR) after a 35 year career, working for both the government and private sectors. Prior to establishing GTR, Kevin spent three years as a Senior Consultant with the Australian law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth specialising in customs and international trade issues. Immediately prior to Corrs he worked with the international accounting firm of KPMG, for 12 ½ years. At KPMG he was responsible for the International Trade and Customs Practice. Before his career at KPMG, Kevin was a Director in the Australian Customs Service (Customs) Dumping Section where he was responsible for conducting dumping investigations. Before this Kevin worked in the majority of Customs' areas including Cargo Control, Diesel Fuel, Drawbacks & Refunds, Excise, Exports, Import Control, Origin and Valuation, Tariff, and Warehousing.
