Biography
Kim M. Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in the Charles Sturt University School of Information Studies. She received her MS and PhD degrees in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University and her BA in English from Brigham Young University. She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Library and Information Science Program at the Universidad Pedagogica Nacional Francisco Morazan in Honduras, an Affiliate Faculty member of the Information Policy and Access Center of the University of Maryland School of Information, USA, and an Associate of the Institute for Land, Water and Society. Kim is Chair of the School of Information Studies Learning and Teaching Committee, coordinates the Librarianship Specialisation for SIS and co-coordinates the SIS Research Seminar Series with doctoral student Mary Coe.
