Biography
Kristy graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Oral Health. She was awarded the ADOHTA award for professionalism and an Executive Dean's Awards for Academic Excellence. During her studies Kristy also received the Services for Rural and Remote Allied Health Scholarship (SARRAH). Kristy then worked full time in her role as an Oral Health Therapist in private practices in Wagga Wagga, working as part of a team of Dentists, Dental Therapists and Hygienists. Kristy was also employed part time as a clinical tutor at Charles Sturt University from 2014 to 2016, before being appointed in a full time academic position as an Associate Lecturer of Oral Health. Currently Kristy will complete her Masters of Health promotion in 2017.
Research Interest
Kristy's special areas of interest is health promotion practices, and has been working on oral hygiene research as part of her Master of Health Promotion.
