Lindsey Brine

Biography

Lindsey joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1987 at the rank of Constable. He has been posted to all regions of Canada. Lindsey has worked in the following duties: aboriginal policing, collision reconstruction, counter- terrorism, criminal operations, general duties, highway patrol, human resources, major crimes, major events, national security, overseas deployments, and Senate Committee Liaison. In addition, Lindsey worked as Team Commander in Africa in 2009 investigating two high profile terrorist related kidnappings of Canadian citizens. In 2010 and 2011, he was appointed as Chief of Staff for over 4,000 United Nations police officers in Port-au-Prince, under authority of the United Nations Stabilisation Mission in Haiti. Prior to his retirement from the RCMP at the rank of Chief Superintendent, and since, Lindsey has been employed by Charles Sturt University as a Lecturer in Policing Studies.
