Biography
I am a Scholar Teaching Fellow in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Indigenous Health – Albury Campus. I grew up in a small country town and have since moved throughout Australia and also worked in the UK. I was in the first group to go through Bendigo College of Advanced Education, which became LaTrobe University – Bendigo Campus. I worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatrics in both NT and NSW for over 10 years. I am neonate intensive care trained and also returned to Uni to study Psychology, and hope to complete a Post Graduate in Psychology in the future, as this has been a fantastic insight and bonus to my nursing skills and teaching. My areas of interest are Paediatrics and Mental Health. I began working with CSU Bathurst campus over 10 years ago as a casual and have continued to work in some capacity with CSU since then. I have been employed on a casual basis as a Subject Coordinator, Clinical Facilitator, teacher and marker.
