Biography
I have taught across many areas of the BN course, most recently in the areas of nursing the older person, the first year introductory nursing subjects, and third year transition to the profession. I have been involved in facilitating student nurse learning in both a clinical and academic role for over 30 years. While I have worked in a variety of settings my area of interest is nursing the older person. I have research interests in the area of learning needs of rural undergraduate nursing students and the improvement of care of the older person in the acute care and residential aged care settings.
