Biography
After completing her Bachelor of Nursing degree with CSU in Bathurst, Melissa commenced working as an RN in Critical Care at Orange Health Service. During this time she completed a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care with the specialty of Intensive Care Nursing and undertook the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist; developing a keen interest in education. Following this she moved into Cardiovascular Nursing in the role of Clinical Nurse Educator and completed her Master of Clinical Nursing. She commenced working casually for CSU in 2012. Melissa has had an ongoing interest in gaining some experience working internationally; in 2015 she had to opportunity to work in an acute Cardiovascular Intensive Care unit in Canada for six months. Currently, Melissa continues to work part-time in Critical Care at Orange Health Service.
