Biography
Michael completed a BSc (Hons - Wool and Pastoral Science) at University of NSW (UNSW), before undertaking a PhD in ruminant nutrition at UNSW. Michael held a lecturing position in Animal Production at University of Tasmania's School of Agricultural Science before taking up the position of Lecturer in the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences with Charles Sturt University in 2003. He was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2006 and Associate Professor in 2013. Michael was appointed as Centre Director at the Graham Centre for Agricultural Innovation in 2015. Although Michael's training is in ruminant nutrition, he has been actively involved in research projects ranging from nutrition, both ruminant and monogastric, to farming systems research.
