Biography
Dr Mikhail Kashubsky is a lecturer in international commercial transactions law, international supply chain management, regulations of offshore petroleum operations, and transnational crime. He is a qualified Australian lawyer admitted to legal practice in 2005 and Head of Secretariat of the International Network of Customs Universities (INCU). He is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory, the High Court of Australia, and the High Court of New Zealand. Mikhail holds Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Master of Laws and a PhD in law. He has been lecturing various law subjects since 2005. His research interests include offshore oil and gas law, maritime and offshore security law, marine environment pollution law, and customs law, on which topics he has also published. In 2015, Mikhail was awarded the title of an Honorary Customs Officer of the Republic of Azerbaijan for cooperation with and contribution to Azerbaijan Customs Service.
