Biography
Michael is currently completing a PhD in dairy feedbase management through the Future Dairy group. He has completed both a MBA and Bachelor of Agricultural Science. Michael has a strong interest in commercial agricultural production and has previously managed a large fully integrated cattle operation in Papua New Guinea, worked in rural banking and as a beef cattle extension officer for the NSWDPI. Michael has also worked as a consultant on farm business benchmarking projects and for industry funded projects. Michael is currently on the Australian Intercollegiate Meat Judging Competition committee and is also a member of the Riverina Local Land Services Advisory Board. Michael lectures in Meat Science and Ruminant Production.
Research Interest
Michael has research interests in ruminant production especially focused on the feedbase and economic analysis of farm businesses.
