Biography
Peter retired from the Australian Federal Police in 2014 after serving over 25 years as both a Federal Agent and as a General Duties Police Officer. He served in ACT Policing, Federal Operations – Close Personal Protection, and Learning & Development. Peter was appointed Chief Defensive Skills Instructor for the AFP in 2000 and was the Chief Driving Instructor from 2011. Peter was deployed to the United Nations in 1998 as a Peacekeeper with UNFICYP - Cyprus and he has extensive experience in training and curriculum development throughout Australia and internationally. On leaving the AFP Peter took up an 18 month consultancy role with the Australian Border Force developing training curriculum and operational policy. Peter has a Bachelor of Adult Education, an Advanced Diploma of Management, an Advanced Diploma of Public Safety and various other industry qualifications.
