Biography
I completed a Bachelor of Nursing in 1995 at The University of Sydney. I then trained in Intensive Care, after I had gained some experience I travelled to the UK to work. I worked as an Intensive Care Nurse in London, Edinburgh and Belfast for two years. Upon my return to Australia I completed my Master of Nursing- Critical Care also at The University of Sydney while working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. I then had a change in my career path and moved to the Kimberley WA to work as a Remote Area Nurse. During this time I completed my Master of Nursing- Nurse Practitioner through Flinders University and I am now an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner in Rural and Remote practice.

The role of the Nurse Practitioner within rural and remote Australia.
