Simon Wright

Biography

Simon joined CSU in March 2013 as a lecturer in the School of Management and Marketing. He is currently teaching postgraduate sustainability and strategic management topics, while also doing his PhD in the field of corporate sustainability. Simon is Chair of the Bathurst Campus Environmental Committee, and a member of the University's Sustainability Advisory Group and MBA Advisory Committee respectively. Prior to CSU, Simon lectured in sustainability and responsible business to postgraduate students in the UK and Asian campuses of Nottingham University Business School. Simultaneously Simon ran his own environmental consultancy, Simply Sustainable, working on a broad range of sustainability projects with regional businesses and with all levels of government across NSW. Simon has extensive sustainability expertise in senior management roles with large Australian and multinational companies, as well as an array of general management experience across the Asia Pacific region. Simon was the recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's 2015 Award for Sustainability.
