Biography
Dr. Sophia Duan Lecturers in Management. She previously worked at Monash University and RMIT University from 2005, prior to joining CSU. She has taught a wide range of subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Project Management, Decision Support Systems, Business Process Modelling and Simulation, Business Computing and B2C Internet Commerce. Sophia's main research interests are in the areas of innovation adoption, efficiency analysis, and multi-criteria decision analysis. To explore the uses in these areas, she applies inter-disciplinary approaches combining econometrics, economics structural modelling, and machine learning techniques including multi-criteria decision analysis, sentiment analysis, and pattern analysis. She regularly publishes research articles in these areas in national and international refereed journals, book chapters, and conferences.
