Biography
Sosheel holds a Master's degree in Economics and is pursuing a PhD at CSU. His PhD research is on domestic informal fresh unpackaged milk value chains in Pakistan. He applies value chain analysis to study specific cases, using quantitative and qualitative methods. These chains provide livelihood to thousands of middle men and retailers who link small dairy farmers operating at low profits at one end with unsatisfied consumers at the other end. The aim is to identify the issues that affect dairy industry competitiveness and recommend remedial policy measures.
