Biography
Susan grew up on a sheep/cropping property near Wagga Wagga, before completing a degree in Agriculture at Charles Sturt University. A PhD was undertaken at UNSW where she investigated nutritional management of ewes and wool production, before holding a position as livestock officer with the Victorian Department of Primary Industries for several years. She returned to CSU in 2006 in the position of research fellow in sheep production, which has expanded to include lecturing in sheep production since 2014. Her current research interests include sheep reproduction, lamb survival, and simulation modelling of farming systems.
