Biography
Suzanne Pasanai is a lecturer in the School of Information Studies. Prior to joining CSU in 2007 she worked in public, special and academic libraries for over 20 years in Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG). From the mid 1980's to early 1990's she worked in PNG as College Librarian/Lecturer in Library Studies at three teachers colleges in and around picturesque Rabaul. That position involved performing the whole gamut of library duties from lending through to strategic management. It also involved strong liaison with local community schools in developing model school libraries and information literacy programs for Year 1-6 children, as well as pre-service and in-service teachers. From the mid 1990's up until joining CSU, Suzanne worked at the University of Wollongong Library in the Information and Research Services area - firstly as a liaison librarian and later as Information Literacy Coordinator.
