William Emilsen

Biography

William Emilsen lectures in Church History and World Religions at United Theological College (UTC) within the School of Theology at Charles Sturt University and he coordinates the Doctor of Ministry program on that campus. His research interests include Uniting Church, Aboriginal, Indian and Pacific history. He is a founding editor of Uniting Church Studies and is currently writing a commissioned history of Goulburn Island Aboriginal community in Arnhem Land, a history of the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress and an interfaith project on religious leadership. He is a senior researcher in the Public and Contextual Theology Research Centre.
