Biography
I have been teaching medical radiation science courses at Charles Sturt University since 1998. I was a medical physicist at the Prince of Wales Hospital Sydney prior to my appointment at CSU. I earned my PhD in physics from the University of Newcastle and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral fellow in applied mathematics at the University of Wollongong and lecturer A in theoretical chemistry at the University of Sydney. I grew up in China and was educated at Zhejiang University China where I earned my Bachelor and Master degrees and held an assistant lecturer position. I spent seven months at the University of Massachusetts Medical School USA on a special study leave.
Research Interest
His research interests are in the general areas of medical physics including physics and instrumentation of CR/DR, CT, MRI, SPECT/PET with current focus on optimisation of image quality and radiation dose in medical X-ray imaging.
