Biography
Dr. Noel Ye Naung joined School of Dentistry, Charles Sturt University in 2016 as a full time lecturer in Dentistry. He was graduated from the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon) in 2007. His Higher Graduate Diploma in Clinical Science (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and M.Sc in Oral and Maxillofaical Surgery were awarded in 2009 and 2012, from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He had 7 years of experience in teaching, demonstrating and tutoring at the University of Otago, New Zealand and Prince of Songkla University, Thailand before joining CSU. In addition, he has broad experience in the clinical practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow of International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also have research skills in stem cell culture and related advanced molecular biology technologies such as gene expression analysis using qRT-PCR, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and confocal immunofluorescence imaging etc. Currently he is in the final stage of submitting his Ph.D thesis at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
