Richard Pittard

Biography

Richard has over 18 years’ experience specialising in risk management, advisory and assurance services in the areas of sustainability, occupational health and safety, environmental management and climate change. He is a chemical engineer with practical experience in the mining, oil and gas, manufacturing and industrial and consumer products sectors. Richard’s experience extends from ‘hands on’ leadership over HSE integration and transformation activities, to strategic advice on system design, effectiveness, integration and behavioral challenges. Prior to working in the professional services sector, Richard held the position of Manager of Environmental Affairs and Site Leader for Safety, Health and Environmental Affairs for Boeing Australia. This diverse role entailed stakeholder engagement and liaison, and the development and implementation of effective enterprise wide strategies, systems and values to address key safety and environmental risks, including supply chain, contractor management, major projects and property transfer. Richard is a Greenhouse Gas Auditor and also a Lead EHS Management Systems Auditor (QSA). Specialties: Climate Change Sustainability Health, Safety and Environment
