Biography
Dan Muehl joined Clovis as the Vice President of Finance in 2015, and his role was expanded in April 2016 to include serving as the Company’s principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. In September 2016, Dan was promoted to SVP of Finance and Principal Financial and Accounting Officer. Dan has more than 30 years of financial management experience including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles at three publicly traded companies. His expertise includes finance and operations management, strategic partnering, financing, investor relations, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously Dan served as CFO of Somalogic, and in the same role at OPX Biotechnologies. Earlier roles include vice president of finance at Pharmion, CFO at Repligen Corporation, CFO at Physiometrix Inc. and CFO and chief operating officer at Number Nine Visual Technology. Dan began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young. He earned a B.S. in accounting from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and received his CPA certificate in 1990.
