Biography
Christopher E. Banas is a co-founder of Bio2 Medical and has been the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since December 2006. Mr. Banas is a medical device industry veteran with extensive leadership experience in cardiovascular company startup, financing, management, R&D, scale-up, regulatory approval, and commercialization.Under Mr. Banas’ leadership, he and his teams have raised the capital and developed innovative medical device technologies with a variety of clinical applications. Mr. Banas holds 65 issued US patents and currently has 67 published US applications in the fields of cardiovascular medicine, specifically, vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, nanotechnology and physical vapor deposition of NITINOL.
