Biography
Mr. Connell’s practice includes patent prosecution, technology licensing, patent opinions, and strategic counseling, with an emphasis in the technology areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and chemistry. His patent practice covers preparation and prosecution of applications with extensive experience in both the United States and foreign jurisdictions. Mr. Connell assists clients in negotiating and drafting license agreements for a range of technologies. His practice also includes the study of patents in the preparation of validity and infringement opinions to assist clients in their business decisions. His experience in patent prosecution, licensing and opinion work is a foundation for counseling clients to develop strategies for enhancing the value of their technologies and reduce their risks in competitive environments. Mr. Connell received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Haverford College and a law degree from George Washington University.
