Biography
Dr. Paul Brandt-Rauf's research and teaching focus on occupational and environmental carcinogenesis. This includes basic research on the structure-function relationships and mechanisms of action of cancer-related proteins; molecular epidemiologic studies of the role of cancer-related proteins as biomarkers of exposure and disease to identify high-risk individuals;
Research Interest
developmental studies of potential new chemotherapeutic and chemoprophylactic interventions to interfere with the action of cancer-related proteins in high-risk individuals; genetic studies of susceptibility for environmental carcinogenic effects; and examination of the ethical issues in this type of research.
