Biography
Dr Tsanaktsidis is a Research Director at CSIRO Manufacturing. He applies his extensive background and experience in scientific research, management, business development, technology commercialisation, and business leadership to deliver commercial value through the creation and translation of innovative technical solutions to the chemical manufacturing industry. He is a Fellow of the RACI and Chair of the Organic Chemistry Division of the RACI, the peak body for chemists in Australia.Dr Tsanaktsidis is an experienced synthetic organic chemist focused on the development and translation of chemistry solutions to the chemical industry. He has the ability to build rapport with colleagues, collaborators, and customers, and has demonstrated an ability to deliver on complex industrial and multidisciplinary projects. In recent years Dr Tsanaktsidis has led the establishment Australia’s first continuous flow processing (flow chemistry) laboratory at CSIRO Manufacturing, for the sustainable and efficient production of commercially important fine chemicals, polymers, and pharmaceuticals. This cutting edge laboratory represents radical paradigm shift in the field of chemical manufacturing.
