Biography
Jean-Paul Wallace has a strong track record providing key legal advice and support as part of corporate leadership teams, including five years as a General Counsel.At CPB Contractors, Jean-Paul leads a team delivering services across a diverse range of activities including legal risk management, tenders and general commercial contract reviews, as well as providing project support and, if necessary, management of arbitration and litigation.He also leads the company secretary function, providing key services relating to the company’s statutory requirements.Before joining CPB Contractors, Jean-Paul was General Counsel at Tenix Australia. He has also held senior positions at UGL Limited, Downer EDI Limited and Corrs Chambers Westgarth.Jean-Paul’s experience means he combines knowledge acquired in private legal practice with the commercial skills and practical considerations of industry. Two years in a major legal firm in Hong Kong has also provided a valuable international perspective.Jean-Paul has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
