Biography
"I have been an employee of the University since its very early conception and have remained committed to the institution because I feel strongly about making social work education accessible to regional, rural, and remote Queenslanders and those from other corners of the country. I live in the magnificence of the Sunshine Coast hinterland on 16 acres of unworked rainforest surrounded by iconic national parks. I really enjoy developing my organic food supply, landscape design, and caring for my Dad's cat Megs. In my downtime I love spending time with family and friends, cooking exotic things, interior and exterior design, and travelling as I am also a sociologist at heart."
Research Interest
Social work education; experiential learning; problem-based learning.
