Biography
"I graduated from CQUniversity with a Bachelor of Arts (Welfare Studies) and a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management). I worked in the disability sector until 2006 when I returned to CQU to complete a Master of Arts (Research). My research interest is in disability, supported accommodation, family inclusion, policy and deinstitutionalisation. I am currently completing a PhD exploring policy and the experiences of Disability Support Workers in Australia. As a Lecturer, I am the Course Coordinator and Lead Lecturer for Social Work and Allied Health within the School of Human, Health and Social Sciences. I provide supervision for students completing Honours (Dissertation) and students completing Research Higher Degrees. I have a personal interest in social justice, equality for all, humanity, sustainability and the abolishment of the death penalty."
