Biography
"Gillian is the Head of Program, Early Childhood and a course coordinator of a number of courses in the Bachelor of Education. Gillian’s PhD (The Social Orders of Family Mealtime) was awarded the Early Childhood Australia Doctoral Thesis Award (2012). Gillian is currently involved in several research projects including young children and celebrations and how families use SKYPE or Facetime to support family interaction. Gillian is a registered early childhood teacher and has experience teaching early years in Queensland schools and preschools. "
