Biography
"I have comprehensive experience in all property portfolios as a facilities manager and strategic consultant with extensive skills in policy, governance, project management, procurement, cost control and staff development. I have a strong understanding of strategic and operational harmony with an ability to minimise consequential impact policies and design errors. My asset management experience includes whole-of-life profiling (maintain-refurbish-dispose), best practice solutions, maintenance planning, CAPEX and OPEX management together with operational support including condition and statutory compliance, computerised system adoption and performance assessment of large portfolios. I lecture in the Built Environment with my PhD research focused on Condition Assessment of the built environment within a computerised data collection environment producing variance in results and client dissatisfaction. This is leading to improvement of international best practice and bench-marking. I am also a Professional Photographer."
Research Interest
My main interests are condition and asset assessment underpinning bench-marking supporting strategic decision making.
