Biography
"I am a registered nurse and post graduate nursing lecturer in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences. I excel in the review and design of nursing curriculum and workplace practice to ensure best-practice and good patient outcomes. I lead the design of nursing re-entry and international entry education programs including internal and external accreditation. I have also led health care teams through organisational change, to meet accreditation standards. This contributed to safer patient-centred practice, reduced corporate risk and better health outcomes. My research is in the area of reproductive health, domestic violence and health education. I have taken part in the successful production of grant proposals and ethics applications. I have a wide variety of experiences to inform my work through my nursing work in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and Iraq"
