Biography
"Professor Maksym Spiryagin is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Railway Engineering (CRE). His research interests are vehicle dynamics, contact mechanics, mechatronics, real-time and software-enabled control systems. At the present time, Professor Spiryagin works on rail vehicle and hybrid locomotive designs, locomotive traction, the development of real-time and mechatronic systems. He has published four books and has more than 130 other scientific publications and 20 patents as one of the inventors."
