Biography
I remember as a child people commenting that I was a 'born teacher'. I always knew that this was what I wanted to be when I grew up. My years in the classroom have only confirmed and developed this passion. I am happiest when I am teaching. The topic doesn't matter, it's all about the empowerment that is going on in the learner. I love that feeling I get when I understand something. This is what I want for my students, no matter their age, gender or nationality. As I have progressed in my career I have moved from teaching in schools to post schooling contexts. My work predominantly involves educating adults, those learning about how they might teach and those teachers who want to continue to grow in their skills and abilities in their classrooms. I especially love the opportunities I have to work with teachers overseas.
