Alongside my academic teaching and research supervision experience that I started at Heriot Watt University back in December 2010, I had worked as a Senior Projects Manager overseeing major international projects for DAMAC Properties between 2010-2014. Before that, I had worked at various technical and managerial positions for leading contractors in the UAE since 2002. I have various refereed publications relating to construction project management and alternative dispute resolution topics with specialty in statutory adjudication. I am one of the winners of the Australian Society of Construction Law Brooking Prize Awards in the last two consecutive years.
