Biography
I am a researcher and educator in the field of computer science and IT, in particular Internet technologies, mobile and wireless communications, and network security. I have published 50+ papers and advised PhD and Masters students in: mobile Internet technologies, sensor networks and the Internet-of-Things, intelligent transportation systems, formal methods, and Internet security and privacy. I have taught courses on data communications, advanced Internet technologies, mobile/wireless systems, IT security and cryptography. I have a strong interest in Linux and open source technologies for research and teaching in the areas of networking and security, e.g. OpenSSL, tcpdump and Wireshark, VirtualBox, LaTeX, Moodle, iperf, vlc
