Biography
David Anstice was appointed to the CSL Board in September 2008. He was a long-time Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the US Biotechnology Industry Organisation, and has over 45 years’ experience in the global pharmaceutical industry. Until his retirement in August 2008, Mr Anstice was for many years a senior executive of Merck & Co., Inc., serving at various times as President of Human Health for US/Canada/ Latin America, Europe and Asia, and at retirement was an Executive Vice President. He is a Director of Alkermes Plc, Dublin, Ireland, and a Director of the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. Mr Anstice is Chair of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee and a member of the Innovation and Development Committee and the Nomination Committee.
