Biography
Catherine Boisvert is an evolutionary developmental biologist specialising on the origin of jawed vertebrates. I combine developmental biology of modern sharks (elephant sharks and epaulette sharks) with paleontology to understand the origins of paired fins, muscle and the patterning of the skeleton.
