Biography
My degrees are in the field of mathematics and statistics. For the past 25 years, I have worked in the field of medical statistics - mainly in the analysis of data collected for research purposes. Currently, my role is to provide statistical support to research students and staff in the School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work, as well as the School of Pharmacy. Support may be provided in the form of writing the statistical components of grant applications, or research proposals, as well as the writing of reports of data analysis which may be submitted for publication. I am also involved to a small extent in teaching of statistics to undergraduates in the Health Sciences at Curtin University.
Research Interest
Statistical analysis of quantitative data collected for research purposes. I have become familiar with many different types of analysis, as demanded by the types of data that are commonly collected in my schools. I prefer to use the SAS computer analysis package, but have familiarity with PASW Statistics (formerly SPSS)
