Biography
Louis Caccetta joined in Department when it was a School as a lecturer in 1981 and progressed through promotion to Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor and finally to Professor (Personal Chair) in 1992. From 1994 to 2004, Louis Caccetta was the Head of Department/School, and am again Head of Department, as of December 2010. In October 1999, Louis Caccetta formed the Western Australian Centre of Excellence in Industrial Optimisation (WACEIO) and have been its Director ever since.
