Biography
Louis Geneste lectures and researches in entrepreneurship, innovation and small business in the School of Management at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. Louis completed his PhD in 2010 with the Graduate School of Business at Curtin University. Louis’ research interests include small business growth and success, knowledge acquisition and innovation and small business scams. Louis has been involved in small business for over twenty years having owned and managed a number of small and medium enterprises. Louis also held various positions within the Human Resources Department at Curtin before moving to academia. Louis is involved with the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre, a not-for-profit advisory centre established in 1994 to assist the growth and development of small business.
Research Interest
My research interests lie in the areas of entrepreneurship, small business and innovation. My PhD study examined knowledge acquisition by SMEs in weak client-firm exchange relationships.
