Biography
Dr. Michael Lwin holds a PhD from Curtin Business School and he is also an Honours (Marketing) graduate. He is the Advertising Course Coordinator at the School of Marketing, Curtin Business School. He is the unit coordinator for Advertising Campaign Development and Marketing Intelligence and Research. Further, he is a founding member of the Luxury Branding Research Cluster. His area of research interest include guilt appeals, emotions in advertising, luxury branding, digital piracy, donation, retail borrowing and labelling. He has received competitive research funding from Healthway and the Australian Red Cross Blood Services. He has also published in A-ranked (ABDC) journals such as the, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Vacation Marketing, and Internet Research. Michael has also won a number of accolades for his contribution in teaching and research.
