Biography
Ryan Loxton is an Associate Professor and ARC Future Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Curtin University. Ryan's research focuses on developing mathematical techniques for solving real-world optimisation and data analytics problems in industry, with the aim of devising optimal strategies that minimise cost and maximise efficiency. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Industrial and Management Optimisation and has worked with various companies in the West Australian resources industry, including Woodside Energy, Linkforce Engineering, Roy Hill Iron Ore, and Sateva. Ryan was the winner of the 2014 West Australian Early-Career Scientist of the Year Award.
