Biography
Simone Ciampi is and ARC DECRA Fellow and has been at the Department of Chemistry since 2016, following a Vice-Chancellor fellowship at the University of Wollongong (2013-2016, IPRI) and postdoctoral works at the University of New South Wales (2010-2013, School of Chemistry). He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, where he completed PhD in semiconductor electrochemistry (2010) under the supervision of Professor Justin Gooding (UNSW) and Professor Mike James (ANSTO). He has published over 50 papers in the fields surface chemistry, electrochemistry and catalysis.

chemistry of interfaces, static electricity in chemistry (electrostatic catalysis), semiconductor electrochemistry and photochromic systems
