Biography
Stephen Veness has a strong track-record recruiting in the technical space with significant experience across oil and gas, mining, power, water and civil infrastructure. Originally from Scotland, Stephen brings his diverse technical engineering experience to Davidson’s Australian and APAC client base. Experience in a number of greenfield and brownfield projects, in Australia and the United Kingdom, has provided Stephen with a strong knowledge and understanding of the life-cycle of major projects. Stephen’s portfolio of relevant experience includes recruiting contract engineers for major clients as well as managing large contract desks in the Scottish power generation market and the Australian resources market. At Davidson, Stephen is responsible for the management of the Projects & Operations business nationally, and he has an experienced team of consultants across Energy & Resources, Project Support, Procurement and Property & Construction disciplines.
