Ajantha Rhodes

Biography

  Ajantha Rhodes is the laboratory manager in Professor Sharon Lewin and Associate Professor Paul Cameron’s laboratory. She has supervised honour students and trained staff in tissue culture and PCR based techniques. Ajantha managers the virology core in the Clinical lab. The aim of the Clinical lab is to provide lab support and study management for clinical studies at the Doherty Institute with a strong focus on HIV cure. She is involved with the development of validation of assay that will be used to characterise and measure the HIV reservoir. As a laboratory manger she provides general support to ensure the laboratory is running smoothly and efficiently
