Biography
Dr Asolina Braun initially studied biology and then pursued a doctoral degree at Hannover Medical School in Germany under the supervision of Professor Reinhold Förster and Dr Tim Worbs. Here, Asolina co-developed a microsurgical procedure of intralymphatic injection and used multi-photon microscopy to study chemokine-driven migration of dendritic cells and T cells. Her post-doctoral studies with professors Thomas Gebhardt and Francis Carbone focused on how cytokines enable the retention and differentiation of tissue-resident memory T cells in extra-lymphoid tissues. Currently, Asolina is the lab manager at the Fabienne Mackay laboratory and studies B cell biology.
