Biography
Elizabeth Orr is an Infection Control Consultant at VICNISS. Elizabeth is the Victorian Hand Hygiene Coordinator and is responsible for the coordination, verification and reporting Victoria’s National Hand Hygiene Initiative to Hand Hygiene Australia (HHA) and the Department of Health and Human Services. Elizabeth provides workshops to train healthcare professionals on how to audit using the HHA audit tool. She also manages the private hospitals’ surveillance and provides education on the surveillance manual. She has postgraduate studies in Emergency Nursing and Infection Control and is a member of the Australasian College of Infection Prevention Control.
