Biography
Dr Fiona Wightman is a postdoctoral scientist working in Professor Sharon Lewin and Associate Professor Paul Cameron’s HIV Pathogenesis laboratory. She has a wide range of skills applicable to studies of both the virology and pathogenesis of HIV and had involvement with a number of major research projects on the pathogenesis of HIV and strategies to reverse HIV latency, a first step towards eradicating HIV. She is currently part of an international team investigating the ability of antibodies used in melanoma therapy to reverse HIV latency and enhance the immune response to enable clearance of HIV infected cells
