Biography
Dr Kylie Quinn undertook her PhD on tuberculosis vaccines with Dr Joanna Kirman at the Malaghan Institute in New Zealand. In 2008, she joined the lab of Dr Robert Seder at the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institutes of Health, USA, where she screened potential vaccines for HIV and defined several mechanisms through which vaccines establish protection. In 2013, she joined the lab of Associate Professor Nicole La Gruta in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, where she focuses on strategies to improve influenza-specific immune responses in the elderly.
